EIM IF_ROW_STAT: REQUIRED_COLS

ISSUE: After executing EIM, the IF_ROW_STAT field becomes REQUIRED_COLS and rows are not imported.

CAUSE: We get REQUIRED_COLS in IF_ROW_STAT when one or more of the required columns are not populated in EIM table.

ISSUE RESOLUTION: To resolve the issue, go through the log file of the eim process.  In log file file you should find the following section if the log level has been set to the appropriate level.  (Please note in our case, we had the above issue with EIM_PROD_INT.)  The log file will give you the list of required fields. Please check which of the required fields are not being populated in the EIM table and supply a value for same.  Then run the eim process again and it should work fine this time.

SBL-EIM-00205: NULL target table for relation!

IssueDescription:
When executing an EIM procress you get the error: SBL-EIM-00205: NULL target table for relation! followed by the error SBL-EIM-00205: Failed to load the application dictionary.

In your EIM log file (log level set to 5) you can see the following:

Cause:
In this case, the above error was obtained due to a case insensitive column that had been mapped on an EIM table involved in the EIM process.  The case insensitive columns do not exist on the database and hence the above-mentioned error occurs during EIM execution.


Issue resolution:

Try the following to resolve the issue:
1) Please try deleting/inactivating the corresponding case insensitive columns under EIM table.
2) Delete the corresponding attribute mappings in Tools under the EIM table.
3) Delete diccache.dat file from SiebSrvr\Bin directory.
4) Try running the EIM job again

SIEBEL IF_ROW_STAT IN_PROGRESS due to SBL-EIM-00107

Error: IF_ROW_STAT shows IN_PROGRESS after EIM process has completed.

Possible Cause: Unique constraint violated.  Check the EIM log file for the definite cause.  If you don't find anything in the EIM log file, try increasing the log level.  If trying to populate s_loy_txn for example, and we get IF_ROW_STAT IN_PROGRESS, then if the problem is truly because of the unique constraint being violated then we should expect to see the following in the EIM log file:

A low-level error occurred during import processing for this table. The error
could not be handled during the step in which it occurred and caused all import
processing for that table to stop.
ODBC error 23000: [DataDirect][ODBC Oracle driver][Oracle]ORA-00001: unique
onstraint (SIEBEL.S_LOY_TXN_U1) violated
This low-level failure caused all processing to halt for the specified
interface table. Check the error messages for more information.
 
Possible Solution: Ensure that you are populating the row_id of the corresponding EIM table with unique values for each rows.
